Struggling Huddersfield Town’s search for their first win of the season continues as they travel to Burnley this weekend.

Town are without a win in nine appearances and sit rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table, whilst Burnley have shot up to 12th after two consecutive league wins.

With just two points in their first seven games, Huddersfield have conceded the joint most goals in the league with 16 and have scored the least with just three goals.

Burnley on the other hand have picked up form after losing four of their first five league games of the season, a run which Terrier’s boss David Wagner has said his side need to take inspiration from.

Wagner said: “Burnley, after a difficult start, have shown they can turn things around and that is our aim tomorrow.”

“The two last results were great for them, even if the performances were not. They have done their work and collected their points.

“Sometimes you only need one result to look at everything differently.”

Burnley Manager Sean Dyche has said his team are starting to recapture the form and fight that brought them success last season.

He said: “Finding ways to win I’ve always been intrigued with. We’ve found two ways to win in the last two Premier League games at a time when we needed them wins.”

Team News:

Town’s injury list grows as defender Terence Kongolo (hamstring) has been ruled out whereas captain Christopher Schindler is hoping to recover from a knee injury. Schindler was forced out of last week’s defeat to Tottenham and will have a late fitness test.

For Burnley Steven Defour misses out due to personal issues whilst James Tarkowski could miss out due to a groin strain picked up in their 2-1 win away to Cardiff on Sunday.
