Corner for Celtic who put together a fantastic spell of possession, but nothing comes from it and the referee blows for halftime.


Zlamal saves an absolute stunning shot from Sinclair, who broke down the left hand side, cut it and smashed it towards the net, and the Hearts keeper put it out for a corner.


Goal disallowed, MacLean collects the ball from the set piece and slots it into the back of the net, but is caught offside with a good Celtic offside trap.

Today’s match will be played at Murrayfield, the first time the stadium has hosted a Scottish League Cup semi-final, while the later match this afternoon between Rangers and Aberdeen will be held at Hampden Park after fans branded the original idea to hold both matches at Hampden park on the same day “idiotic”.


Hearts come into today’s match top of the Scottish Premiership and with back to back wins against Aberdeen and Dundee in their last two matches.

Celtic meanwhile sit third in the league, and come in to this match with a loss in their last game to RB Leipzig in the Europa League.
