Bradford City Council has today removed school governors for failing to protect children from identifying extremist views. An Ofsted report, officially published today, said that Carlton Bolling College, Bradford, had failed to cater to the specific needs of non-muslim students.

Police have launched a murder inquiry following the death of a 67-year-old woman at a property on Talbot Avenue in Moortown, North Leeds. Officers were contacted by a man at 10pm last night concerning a woman who was found dead. West and North Yorkshire Police forces began enquiries to find the man due to concerns over his welfare.
